2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa Venues – Rustenburg

Preparations for the 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa have begun in earnest and the spotlight is beginning to fall on the venues as football fans from around the world look to the destinations where their favorite teams are. embarks on the adventure they all hope will lead to the Final at Soccer City Johannesburg on July 11th.

Rustenburg’s brand new 42,000 capacity Royal Bafokeng Stadium will host Five Group Matches plus one Round of 16 match between June 12th and June 26th. First up is England v USA, a Group C game scheduled for 20:30 on June 12th. New Zealand and Slovakia play their Group F match at 13:30 on June 15th. On 19 June at 16:00 it is a Group D match between Ghana and Australia. The entire South American Group clash between Mexico and Uruguay takes place at 16:00 on 22 June. In the final Group game at the Royal Bafokeng Stadium, Denmark will face Japan on 24 June at 20:30. Two days later on June 26th the Round of 16 match will take place between the winners of Group C and the runners-up from Group D.
