The Cricket World Cup has finally come to the Caribbean. International cricket fans finally get to mix pleasure with pleasure: a trip to the Caribbean, the holiday Mecca, to enjoy what is one of the biggest events in the world second to the Olympics, and in close contention with World Cup football.

As an islander myself, I can tell you that this is one of my favorite spots in Jamaica – the adventure of climbing the spectacular waterfalls, the thrill of jumping off the river rocks into the natural pools that form steps all the way to the top is a magnet that pulls me back again and again. This lovely holiday spot is a must see.
