5 Reasons Why These Top 10 World Class Cities Are a Must Visit

I have to admit that the subject of choosing only ten cities out of the variety of world-class cities around the world is a time bomb. No matter which side of the divide you stand on; you are destined to offend some people unintentionally.

My almost unthought and consulted list seems to agree with the monstrous article written by Dave Doran which he captioned Top 10 Top Cities to Visit. My failure in this article is to focus on the 5 highest common denominators of these cities, in other words; what are the most magical qualities these wonderful cities have in common that continue to attract travelers and visitors from all over the world.

I have an unusual challenge, it stems from the fact that my list of the top 10 cities comes in order of their importance and value to travelers around the world. Without fear of being contradicted or misunderstood. The city at the top of my list is:

NEW YORK CITY – The city with the biggest building in the world, The city that never sleeps, The city of light, the city for shoppers, so well they named it twice.

Paris – The world headquarters of romance and beauty.

LAS VEGAS – The entertainment and gambling capital of the world.

SYDNEY – The most friendly and peaceful city for travellers.

SAN FRANCISCO – The most liberal and cozy city for tourists.

Bangkok – Asia’s gift to the world of tourism, the most attractive city for tourists.

Tokyo – A city of breathtaking views, a city of amazing landmarks.

London – The queen’s city. The city for everyone.

Rome – The city of historic landmarks, the episcopal enclave.

Venice – City of charm and beauty.

I dare say unequivocally that these cosmopolitan cities are a must for any international tourist to visit. A visit to any of these amazing cities with their unforgettable sights and views will leave a lasting impression in your life.

Enough rambling!

What do these cities have in common? Why do they attract a large chunk of international visitors? Truly; it’s a record that millions visit these top 10 cities every year!

They all have these qualities in common!

1. NIGHT LIFE- The activity of people trying to divert at night is increasing all over the world. The entertainment available for night time seekers is very much available in these sprawling cities. You can find prestigious movie theaters like the magic theater at 254 west 29th street I New York, ny I 10001, Regal Station Boulder 11 Theater 4111 Boulder Highway Las Vegas, NV 8912. Excellent restaurants like Vegas Hotel Bar and entertainment in Sydney or pay a visit to Bei Otto in downtown Bangkok for a taste of German-European cuisine.

2. ICONIC LANDMARKS – Take a look at Parliament Square, London, Tower Bridge, Southwark, London, Kew Gardens, Kew, London. Are these historical landmarks of Venice such as Basilica San Marco – San Marco Square, St. Mark’s Square Piazza San Marco, Tokyo Tower, Hanazono Jinja Tokyo,

When you visit Rome, there are 8 unforgettable landmark sites that you must visit. These are:

The Coliseum – it is estimated that around 500,000 people and over a million animals died inside the Colosseum.

The Pantheon – The oldest domed structure in Rome, the Pantheon is the best preserved building of the Roman Empire, and probably the best (of its age) in the whole world. The building is not only famous for its portico (the facade) or the large concrete. structure, but mainly for the large round eye in the middle of the roof, also known as the Oculus.

Trevi Fountain – One of the busiest places in Rome, the Trevi Fountain is among the most stunning fountains in the world with beautiful Baroque architecture.

Spanish Steps – Just a couple of minutes from Piazza del Popolo at the base of La Fontana della Barcaccia in Piazza di Spagna, this is where you will find the Spanish Steps. This is the longest and widest staircase in the whole of Europe.

Piazza Navona – A Roman Baroque masterpiece, a marvel of light and sculpture, Piazza Navona is a public space with the designs of an ancient Roman city circus. The whole area is crowded with tourists, many outdoor cafes and restaurants, and the many artists who draw or paint your portrait or caricature.

Monument to Vittorio Emanuele II – Made entirely out of finely cut pure white marble, the 135m high structure stretches from the Capitoline Hill to the marble Piazza Venezia, and includes a huge equestrian statue of Victor Emmanuel and two statues of the goddess Victoria riding on quadrigas. This is also where the Unknown Soldier Tomb is located.

Castel Sant’Angelo – Located on the right bank of the River Tiber where the river gets bigger, the castle is the most impressive element of the beautiful panorama. It is now a museum and if you are lucky you can have a cup of Italian coffee in an outdoor cafe and enjoy a sunny day.

The Vatican – I don’t think the Vatican needs any further introduction, but make sure you visit St. Peter’s Basilica, climb to the top for the fantastic panorama and visit the Vatican Museum making sure you get up early in the morning so you miss out on the wonder of the early morning.

3. TOP CLASS HOTELS AND RESTAURANTS – You’ll be right at home in any of these cities in terms of accommodation. From one to five star mega hotels and restaurants depending on the size of your checkbook. Check out New York’s Gramercy Park Hotel, Sushisamba at the Palazzo Las Vegas. Tourists and travelers all over the world are particularly interested in the caliber of the hotels and restaurants in which they eat and stay. You will get first class services from the equally excellent hotels and restaurants that abound in these cosmopolitan and metropolitan cities.

4. TOP CLASS SHOPPING CENTERS – Shopping is another name for tourists and travelers around the world, there are world class shopping malls in each of the top 10 cities in my list

5. HOSPITALITY – The reception you get when you visit any of these cities is not only first class, it can’t be compared to anything.

I hope you have a great time, when you get the chance to visit any of these top vacation you must visit cities! Remember I told you.
