I know that if I keep up with that, my golf game will suffer. I use whatever trick works at the time. Taking deep breaths is always a good start. Swinging my club between my fingertips at a slow and easy pace can calm and create tempo. Looking at the beauty of the golf course can be a relaxing and uplifting experience, especially if I’m caught in a traffic jam. You will have to practice what works for you.
